Singing Audition for "Matilda the Musical"
Looking for talents ages 10 and up for "Matilda the Musical". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Matilda is a little girl with astonishing wit, intelligence, and psychokinetic powers. Though unloved by her cruel parents, she finds an ally in her kind-hearted teacher, Miss Honey. As Matilda begins to harness her abilities, she stands up to the tyrannical headmistress Miss Trunchbull - proving that even the smallest person can make a big difference. Additional info: Prepare a 16–32 bar cut of a musical theatre song NOT from Matilda. Bring a backing track (MP3) or sing a cappella — no accompanist provided You’ll receive your time slot via email. Callbacks: Tuesday, April 29 | 6:00–10:00 PM. Callbacks will include readings, songs from the show, and possibly a dance call.
