Teen Talent Audition in a Short Film
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking teens ages 15-17 for a short film. More details are below. About the project: Synopsis: When a tight-knit group of teen skateboarders dares each other to spend the night in a haunted, abandoned mall rumored to be the site of mysterious disappearances, they think it’s all just urban legend. But once inside, they quickly realize the truth behind the ghost stories. The mall’s former owner, Richard Gale—once a failing businessman—now haunts the crumbling building, trapping unsuspecting visitors as “customers” in his twisted afterlife mall. As tensions rise and one of their own is taken, EJ must rally his courage and wits to outsmart the vengeful spirit. With time running out and danger closing in, the group must learn to work together and face their fears if they hope to make it out alive. A thrilling and comedic urban ghost story about friendship, courage, and a little bit of fire. Rate: Non-Union. Volunteer. Demo Reel material. Once the fearless leader of her friend group, Becca masks her vulnerability behind sarcasm and stubborn independence. She’s ambitious, stylish, and lowkey terrified of being left behind or forgotten. Thrives on a cocky, confident energy that often masks his insecurities. He’s the classic “bad boy” of the group, always ready with a sarcastic remark or a challenge, but his bravado hides a deeper need for validation. Rowan’s a skilled skateboarder and loves pushing his limits, whether it’s on a board or in a dare. Bonus if you can skateboard.
The most cautious and reserved member of the group. He’s not as brash or impulsive as Rowan, and often serves as the voice of reason when the others get carried away. Finn's nickname, "Fish," reflects his quiet, sometimes awkward nature, but it also hints at his sensitivity and his tendency to be in his own world. He's thoughtful and introspective, always second-guessing decisions, especially when danger is involved. Bonus if you can skateboard.
