Marie, now a teen in the 70s, enjoys life being young and free. Together with her friends, Marie coast through the last summer of the decade hanging out and enjoying life.

Marie’s first-born, a ditzy and ambitious child with lots of imagination. Over the course of her former years, Shemarie goes about her days by her mom’s side; questioning the way things work in life through the lens of innocence and strife.

Now a teenager, Shemarie begins to question the way life works having grown up in a tough environment during her adolescence. Estranged from her mother, Shemarie sets out to face the rather harsh realities of society head-on. She sticks to her lonesome, and tries to come to terms with growing up in an adult world.
