Seeking Kids and Teens for "The Spongebob Musical"

Kids in 3rd grade and up are welcome to audition for "The Spongebob Musical". Please see the details below. About the project: "The SpongeBob Musical" is based on the beloved animated series created by Stephen Hillenburg and features a book by Kyle Jarrow, with original songs by Yolanda Adams, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Sara Bareilles, Jonathan Coulton, Alexander Ebert of Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, The Flaming Lips, Lady A, Cyndi Lauper, John Legend, Panic! At the Disco, Plain White T’s, They Might Be Giants and T.I., and songs by David Bowie, Tom Kenny and Andy Paley. Additional lyrics are by Jonathan Coulton, with additional music by Tom Kitt. The musical production was conceived by Tina Landau. Additional info: Please come that day prepared to perform a piece of music of your choice. Directors will not have an accompanist available, but you are welcome to bring your own accompaniment or perform it a cappella. Please come dressed appropriately to dance/move for your audition as well. There may also be some reading for the audition as well. Rehearsal Schedule: You will rehearse Mondays - Thursdays from 6 pm-8 pm. The full schedule will be available at the auditions. (Please come to auditions with all conflicts if possible) The production will run August 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 2025 (THE WEEK BEFORE THE SHOW IS ABSOLUTELY MANDATORY; NO EXCEPTIONS.
