Singing Audition for "Alice By Heart" Show

Teens who have just completed 8th-12th grade are welcome to audition for the "Alice By Heart" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Set in the London Underground during WWII, Alice By Heart reimagines the classic tale of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland through the lens of grief, imagination, and first love. As bombs fall from the sky, Alice takes refuge in her favorite story, blurring the lines between fantasy and reality. With an indie-rock score and poetic storytelling, this moving, whimsical, and emotionally rich musical comes from the creators of Spring Awakening and Waitress. Additional info: What To Prepare: - Prepare 16 measures of a contemporary musical theatre song (1970s or later) with clearly marked sheet music (2-page max, no tracks) - Highly Recommended: Prepare a second contrasting song (max 2 minutes) - Be ready to sing scales and read from the script - Note: There is no dance audition.
