Casting Call for Boys and Girls for "Alice in Wonderland Jr."
Any student currently in grades 3-5 is invited to be a part of the show "Alice in Wonderland Jr.". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: You’ll love this magical Tell-A-Tale Production of Alice in Wonderland, where up is down and down is up. Of course, to get there you’ll need to tumble down the rabbit hole with Alice and watch as she encounters the ever-tardy White Rabbit, grinning Cheshire Cat, a cool Caterpillar, the wacky Mad Hatter and the testy Queen of Hearts. Whether this is your first experience with Alice or your hundredth, you’ll love this timeless story of adventure, imagination, and fanciful fun! Additional info: Prepare a song to perform. Choose one of the attached songs from Alice, Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts, or White Rabbit. Prepare a monologue to perform. Choose one of the monologues from King of Hearts, Caterpillar, Doorknob, or Alice. Rehearsal days and times: Mondays through Fridays, June 4- July 8, 1-3 pm Required attendance days: Final 2 weeks of rehearsals, Monday, June 30- Tuesday, July 8, 1-3 pm Tech rehearsal: Sunday, June 29 At least one parent should attend the Parent Meeting on Wednesday, May 28, from 5:30-6:30 pm. At the meeting, you’ll be able to meet some of the production team, ask questions, get the rehearsal calendar, and find out how you can support your child in this production!
