Singing auditions for the play "Footloose"! Check out the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: This musical adaptation is based on the 1984 film of the same name. The stage version features all of the great characters and music that made "Footloose" one of the highest grossing films of 1984. You will also learn some new songs that were written for the musical. Additional info: No appointment necessary. Callback auditions will be scheduled as needed. For the audition, please prepare a 32-bar section of a song from a Broadway show. A pianist will NOT be available so please bring pre-recorded accompaniment that has no vocals. A karaoke-type track or something similar is fine. No monologue is required but we may ask you to do a cold read from the script. Wear comfortable clothing and footwear that you can move in. The audition will include a movement exercise. Tech Rehearsals will take place during the week of August 25 - 28, 2025. Performance Dates are August 29, 30, September 5, 6, 7, 2025 Please see the attachment for details.
