Seeking Kids and Teens for "Finding Nemo Jr." Show

Children ages 6-12 years old are welcome to audition for "Finding Nemo Jr.". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Disney’s Finding Nemo JR. is a musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves. Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Finding Nemo JR. brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure. Rate: There is no compensation for any of the actors. Additional info: Prepare a 16 to 32-bar song selection that shows off voice, acting, and range. For the vocal audition, please bring your own piano-track recording or karaoke version to sing along with. Recitation: Please prepare a short poem of your choice to recite from memory. When performing your poem, remember to add character and show off your acting skills. What to Bring: Please bring a current headshot or photo (4x5 or larger) and a theatrical resume if you have one. If you do not have a resume, please do not worry; no previous experience is required. Performance Dates: June 18-29, 2025 (Wed/Thurs/Fri/Sat 7:30 pm, Sun 2 pm) Note that a fee will be applied.
