About the project: Join us for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, a high-energy, family-friendly musical filled with vibrant music, humor, and heart! This beloved Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice classic tells the biblical story of Joseph, his coat of many colors, and his journey from betrayal to triumph—all set to a dazzling mix of musical styles. For this production, we’re doing something a little different! Instead of a traditional children’s choir, we will be casting kids as "mirrors" to the adult roles, allowing them to act, move, and interact alongside the main characters in certain scenes. This fun and unique twist will bring a fresh layer of storytelling and creativity to the stage! Additional info: Call Backs: May 7th, 6 pm to 9 pm Show Dates: July 18-19, 24-26, 31 & August 1-2, 8-9 – (Call Time) 6:00 PM to ~9:00 PM July 20, 27 & August 3, 10 – (Call Time) 1:00 PM to ~4:00 PM Vocal: Prepare 2 contrasting songs, 16–32 bars that show your comfortable range. Please bring the music sheet. Accompanist provided. If you are not comfortable bringing a prepared song, please sign up for the first hour of auditions (6-7), where we will be teaching a song instead. Dance/Movement: Be prepared to learn a short movement combination (at callback only). Rehearsals will begin May 11th and will generally take place Sundays through Thursdays, 6 pm to 9:30 pm.
