Casting Call for Teens in Musical Production "Xanadu"
Seeking teens for the musical production Xanadu! Check out the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Xanadu follows the story of a magical Greek muse, Kira, who descends from Mount Olympus on a quest to inspire a struggling artist to achieve the greatest artistic creation of all time - a ROLLER DISCO! (Hey, it’s 1980.) But, when Kira falls into forbidden love, her jealous sisters take advantage of the situation and chaos abounds. Rate: All roles paid a flat performance and rehearsal stipend. At this time, we do not provide transportation or housing. Additional info: Performance dates July 25-August 03 Fridays and Saturdays 8pm | Sundays 2pm Rehearsals begin in Tampa on May 28, 2025 and will run four times a week in the evenings. Please prepare 16 bars (roughly 30 seconds) of a pop song of your choice that showcases your strongest vocals, with recorded accompaniment. (Bluetooth-enabled speakers will be available. A live accompanist will not be provided. ) You may also be asked to read from the script, learn vocal parts, and learn choreography. If you are interested please apply.
