Teen Auditions for Musical Production "Hairspray"

Auditions for teen performers in the musical "Hairspray" – See Details Below! ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: THIS IS A NON-EQUITY PRODUCTION. Stipends are available for all performers. Additional info: Rehearsals are currently in progress (Sun.-Thurs. eve.; daytime on Sat.). Performances are scheduled to commence Saturday, May 3, 2025 and conclude Sunday, June 1, 2025. Performances will be Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm. There will be an added 2pm matinee performance on Saturday, May 24. as well as additional Thursday performances at 8pm on Thursday, May 22 and Thursday, May 29. All performers must be local to the Los Angeles area and must be vaccinated for COVID-19. Two contrasting 16-32 bars of contemporary musical theatre selections, showing range and character. Songs from the show are acceptable. Please note that the directors are unable to consider submissions without video included.
