Singing Audition for "Shrek" Musical

Looking for kids ages 6 and up for "Shrek" Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Once upon a time, in a faraway swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek. One day, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he's handed a task — if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn't be complete without a few twists and turns along the way. Additional info: Preparation for Performers with Minimal Theatre Experience: Come to your audition prepared to sing a song. You can prepare a musical theatre song in advance, sing a song that you have sung in your school chorus, or even sing something as simple as "Happy Birthday". Preparation for Performers with Previous Theatre Experience: Please prepare 16-32 bars of a musical theatre song that shows your voice at its best. Directors prefer that you memorize your audition song. Please bring sheet music for the accompanist. Recorded accompaniment is ok but sheet music is preferable. Performances will take place on July 26, 27, and August 2, 3, at 7:30 PM as on July 28 and August 4 at 3:00 PM. If interested, please apply.
