Kid Performers Needed for "The Enchanted Bookshop" Play
Kids ages 4-18 are welcome to audition for "The Enchanted Bookshop" Play. Please see the details below. About the project: During the day, A Likely Story may look like any other used bookstore. But at night, it’s a place where magic happens. That’s when the characters inside the books come alive. Six of those characters-Dorothy Gale, Robin Hood, Pollyanna, Sherlock Holmes, Heidi, and Tom Sawyer-long to help Margie, the scatterbrained owner, save her struggling store. But they’re not allowed to leave the building or be seen by human eyes. So when a pair of smugglers comes looking for a stolen necklace hidden inside one of the books, the characters are torn. Should they warn Margie and risk disappearing forever? Or can they find a way to defeat the crooks without being seen? Additional info: Print, complete & bring the form attached with you to save time at auditions! Each child will need their own form completed! Rehearsals are scheduled for Mondays & Thursdays starting March 31st, 5:30-8 pm. Tech week will be May 12, 13 & 15 (no Wednesday) 5:30-8 pm Everyone who is cast will be in attendance on March 31st as that will be the read-through! Rehearsals after that will be per characters in the scenes directors will be working on that night.
