Seeking Teens for "The Addams Family" Musical

About the project: THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents. Additional info: Please prepare to sing the audition cut for the character(s) you are auditioning for. In addition to music, you will also be asked to prepare a 1 minute contemporary comedic monologue of your choosing. Chorus rehearsals will begin the first week of June in the music room of the Old School Community Center in Wilmington. Lead actors will be able to rehearse with Barbara Lipstadt during this month also. The show will move to Memorial Hall in Wilmington on July 7, and will have 3 weeks of rehearsal there before the performance week of July 28. The show will run July 31st through August 2nd.
