Teen Boy Needed for "The Importance of Being Earnest"

Livonia, MI, United States
ID: 582046Exp: 3/4/2025
Description:

Auditions for "The Importance of Being Earnest" play. Seeking a late teen boy. Please see the breakdown below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Oscar Wilde’s classic comedy skewers Victorian sensibilities with witty dialogue while hilariously turning inside-out the very concept of identity. This streamlined adaptation retains the charm of the original and adds even more layers to the question of “Who am I, really?” Still, what’s most important is being earnest—or Ernest, as the case may be. Additional info: The “age range” is the age the character should appear, not the age of the actor. Please bring a filled out audition form (see attachment) to auditions. They will also have copies of the audition form at auditions, if you are unable to fill one out ahead of time. Please note: there is a participation fee. Performance dates are May 9-10 and 16-17. If you are interested, please apply.
