Young Talent Wanted for Singing Auditions "Matilda the Musical"
Kids ages 7-18 years old for "Matilda the Musical". Please see the details below. About the project: Additional info: Kids age 7-15 years old will sing 1 minute of a song from any musical EXCEPT Matilda the Musical. There will be no dance call or reading for auditions. Each time slot for kids offers ONLY 10 spots to sign up for (next page). You will also insert a link to your child's karaoke track that they will sing with on their Audition Form so that no child has to worry about bringing a device to connect to a speaker. The directors will provide a speaker. Kids MUST sing with a karaoke track! No a capella. Audition Information (16 and Up): All teens will sing one minute of a Musical Theatre song. from any show, with a Karaoke Track. Directors will provide a speaker for you to connect to. (Must be under 54 inches). An imaginative girl who is clever and wise far beyond her years. Honest and unassuming, but with a prankster streak and a strong sense of justice. Must be a very strong singer and actress.
Matilda's classmate. He is subject to punishment by Miss Trunchbull. Must be a very strong actor and singer with monologues, scenes, and solos. Strong dance skills preferred.
Matilda's classmate and best friend. Lavender is squeaky and super-adorable, and what she lacks in intelligence she makes up for in enthusiasm and friendliness. Must be a very strong actor and singer with monologues, featured scenes, and solos throughout.
Matilda's slightly older brother. He is a deadpan comedic character, with various lines and "bits" throughout the show.
