About the project: Set in 1595, Something Rotten! is a hilarious and irreverent look at two brothers trying to write the world’s first musical in the shadow of William Shakespeare’s genius. With over-the-top songs, side-splitting humor, and plenty of Shakespearean jabs, this show is a must-see! Whether you’re a seasoned performer or new to the stage, we want YOU to bring your A-game. If you love comedy, big musical numbers, and Shakespeare with a twist, then this is the audition for you! Additional info: Instructions Please bring sheet music, an accompanist will be provided for auditions. Be prepared for a dance audition as well. 16-32 bars in the style of the show.
