Kid auditions for singing in "Something Rotten, Jr."! See the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Please note: there is a production fee applied. Prepare 16-32 bars (about 30 seconds to a minute) of a song from a musical theatre show (no Something Rotten songs, please!). Auditions are a cappella, but you may bring a backing track on your phone to sing along with (please note: no speakers provided). Auditions are 5-10 minutes. Optional: A short memorized monologue or poem. For parents/guardians signing up multiple children: Please book a separate audition slot for each child. Callback Dates: Saturday, April 13th – 12:30 PM - 5:00 PM Sunday, April 14th – 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM Rehearsal & Performance Schedule: First Rehearsal: Tuesday, May 28th No rehearsal: June 19th, July 3rd, July 4th. Tech Week: July 19th - July 25th, Rehearsals will be longer, food will not be provided by the park. Performances: July 24th - August 2nd Rehearsal Times: Typically Mondays-Thursdays, 5 PM - 8 PM, and some Saturdays Full commitment is required from July 14th through closing.
