Young Talent Wanted for Singing Audition for "Pippin" Show
Looking for kids ages 7 and up for the "Pippin" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Pippin is a 1972 musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Roger O. Hirson. Bob Fosse, who directed the original Broadway production, also contributed to the libretto. The musical uses the premise of a mysterious performance troupe, led by the Leading Player, to tell the story of Pippin, a young prince on his search for meaning and significance. The fourth wall is broken numerous times during most traditional productions. Additional info: WHAT TO PREPARE: Vocal: 16-32 bars of a song in the style of the show. Please do not sing a song from the show. A piano accompanist will be available at auditions, so please bring sheet music in your key. Dance: A dance audition video will be posted at a later date (see the attachment for details). Please fill out this form before your audition date.
