About the project: As the half-blood son of a Greek god, Percy Jackson has newly-discovered powers he can't control, a destiny he doesn't want, and multiple monsters hot on his trail. When Zeus's lightning bolt is stolen, Percy must travel to the Underworld and back, solve the Oracle’s riddle, and prevent a war between the gods. THE LIGHTNING THIEF musical is adapted from the best-selling book of the same name by Rick Riordan and features a thrilling rock score. Additional info: Planned performance dates: April 9 - 13. No experience is necessary and no preparation is required, but interested actors can borrow a script to read ahead of time if they wish. Please see the attachment for details.
