Young Talent Wanted for Singing Audition "Back to the 80's"
Seeking actors ages 16 and up for the "Back to the 80's" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: This nostalgic musical takes you back to high school during the time when the clothes were bright, the jewelry was big, the hair was even bigger, and the music was everything. Additional info: Please prepare 16 bars of a song in the style of the 80s (preferably pop or musical theatre). Please bring sheet music in your key. An accompanist will be provided. Be prepared to dance and, possibly, read from the script. Please sign up for a half-hour slot below, but be prepared to stay longer if necessary. Not much else to be said - big hair, wears clothes that were cool at the time, but now just look like fluorescent mismatches of color. Huey is an 80's tragic - he is the only member of the cool group to go as far as wearing a white Michael Jackson glove - as was the fashion of the day!
