Seeking Kids and Teens for "The Sound of Music" Show
Kids ages 5 and up are invited to audition for "The Sound of Music" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Everyone should prepare a selection to sing that shows off their vocal range and style. If you choose not to use a selection from the show, please make sure your song is in the style of the show and no longer than a minute. Everyone will be asked to read and there will be a movement/dance portion within the hour as well. Rehearsals will start on March 18th and will be Monday through Thursday at 6:30 p.m., with a few weekend choreography rehearsals for 16 Going on 17 and The Waltz/Laendler. "The Sound of Music" runs May 9-11 and 16-18 of 2025. Please download the attachment for details, forms, and audition material. If interested, please apply.

(Tenor) Suitor to Liesl, telegram delivery boy, later Nazi soldier. A very pleasant young man, somewhat aggressive but in a gentle way.
(mezzo) The oldest child, blossoming into a young lady with an interest in boys. She has a maternal edge to her and cares very deeply for her younger siblings.
Tough exterior, very much trying to be “the man” of the family.
