About the project: A fabulously fun award-winning musical based on the adored movie, Legally Blonde The Musical, follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. Action-packed and exploding with memorable songs and dynamic dances - this musical is so much fun, it should be illegal! Elle Woods appears to have it all. Her life is turned upside down when her boyfriend Warner dumps her so he can attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle ingeniously charms her way into the prestigious law school. While there, she struggles with peers, professors, and her ex. With the support of some new friends, though, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world. Additional info: Please prepare a one-minute cut of a musical theatre song that matches the style of the show. Come ready to dance. After the dance call, all will sing next, and then finish by reading an audition side attached. Everyone dances first, at 1:00 PM SHARP. Then, we will sing/read after that. Please come dressed to move. First Rehearsal: June 16, 2025 (Some will rehearse starting June 17th.) General Rehearsal Schedule Sundays 12-5 pm and 6-9 pm Mon-Thurs 6:00-10 pm (YAP Master Classes, included in your cast fee, are from 5:00 - 6:00 pm.) Performance Dates: July 24 (7 pm), 25 (7 pm), 26 (2:00 and 7:00 pm), 27 (2 pm) in the Tarkington theatre. Note that the fee will be applied. If interested, please apply.
