About the project: Thornton Wilder’s "Our Town" is a timeless exploration of the human experience, set in the fictional small town of Grover’s Corners. Through its simple yet profound narrative, Wilder captures the everyday lives, dreams, and struggles of ordinary people as they navigate love, family, and mortality. The play’s innovative structure and minimalistic staging highlight the universality of its themes, offering a poignant reminder of the beauty and brevity of life. Our Town invites audiences to reflect on their own lives and the moments that make them truly meaningful, making it a deeply resonant and enduring work of American theater. Additional info: Auditions will consist of readings from the script (sides will be available at auditions). Auditioners must be prepared to indicate which rehearsals they are unable to attend.
