This is an incredible opportunity to be part of a heartwarming and energetic production filled with laughter, music, and wonder. Based on the stories by P.L. Travers and the Disney film, Mary Poppins is the story of the Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have driven away yet another nanny when Mary Poppins mysteriously appears. With her magical touch, she takes the children on a series of unforgettable adventures, teaching them—and their parents—life-changing lessons about love, joy, and the importance of family. From the rooftops of London to a lively park, this timeless tale is a “practically perfect” musical for all ages. Additional info: There is no cost to participate, but casting is competitive, and not everyone who auditions will be cast. Performances are scheduled for May 31 through June 8, with mandatory attendance for dress rehearsals from May 25–29. Schedule: Saturdays at 3:30 PM, lasting 1.5–2 hours depending on evening performances. Lead actors: May miss up to 3 rehearsals (pre-scheduled or emergencies). Missing more will result in a meeting to discuss recasting. Ensemble actors: May miss up to 5 rehearsals but must attend choreography sessions for the numbers they perform. Missed choreography rehearsals mean you cannot perform in that number. If you are interested please apply.
