Casting Teen Performers for Upcoming Play

Actors age 12-18 years old for "This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Triplet sisters are left in the forest by their woodcutter father. From this fairytale beginning, three resolutions are made – one sister will walk one way, one the other, and the third will stay right where she is. Twenty years later, having circumnavigated the globe, fought Vikings, crossed oceans, tamed wilds, and achieved greatness, the three meet again, as women. The fantastical tale also highlights the beauty of individuality and the importance of one’s journey to self-love. Additional info: WHAT TO PREPARE: Headshots/resumes are encouraged but not required. Auditions will consist of a prepared (age appropriate and memorized) one-minute monologue including slating (introducing who you are, what play the monologue is from, and who wrote the play) along with reading from the script.
