Child actors needed for "Fun Home" Play. Please see the details below. Additional info: Callbacks (by request only): Saturday, February 8 at 3 pm. he production runs weekends from April 25-May 10, 2025 Rehearsals begin in early March. Those auditioning will be asked to show their vocal and acting ability and range by reading a scene and singing a song from the musical. Actors should be able to move easily back and forth between spoken and sung dialogue. NOTE: Parents of children auditioning are encouraged to research the content of this musical prior to auditions so they are aware of the subject matter of the show and the children’s roles in it. Actors should also prepare to sing ONE musical selection. Highly recommend you choose one of the Fun Home songs listed below. It is best to memorize your song. You will sing along with a piano accompanist, who will have the sheet music for these Fun Home songs. If interested, please apply.

Alison as a child. Precocious and opinionated. On the cusp of finding herself and forming her own views and values. Confident and intelligent young girl. Strong, expressive singer/actor. Able to learn and master choreography. Fun Home has elements of family conflicts. This actress will need to be onstage during one of those moments. She is not a part of it but the character will hear it in the background.
Alison’s older brother. As the oldest of the three children he strives to be the leader, but is sometimes overshadowed by Alison’s strong personality. Good singer with a natural sound, good sense of harmony and pitch. Able to learn and master choreography.
