About the project: This lively stage musical is based on the beloved Pixar film with the same name. Nemo (a young clownfish) wants nothing more than to explore the world beyond the coral reef. When Nemo is captured and taken to a fish tank in Sydney, Nemo's father (with the help of a forgetful fish named Dory) must travel the depths of the ocean to free Nemo and return home! Additional info: Please note: there is a production fee applied. This production runs approximately 90 mins. with a 15 min. Auditions are open to actors age 5 - 18, regardless of experience level. Approx. 150-200 actors will be cast in the production. Actors will have the option to select a full-time or part-time preference for their role. Full-time actors participate in all performances and dress rehearsals and have a more strenuous production schedule. Part-time actors participate in half of the performances and dress rehearsals and have a less strenuous production schedule. The fee is the same regardless of being cast in a part-time or full-time role. Callback dates are TBD, but will likely be held between Jan. 19-20. Callbacks are invitation only. A curious young clownfish who can't wait to explore the big blue ocean. Nemo was born with a "lucky fin" that is smaller than an average fin, but that doesn't stop Nemo from accomplishing big things!
Nemo's dad. A cautious clownfish due to a tragic experience that resulted in the loss of Nemo's mother. Marlin. Forced to travel across the sea in search of Nemo, Marlin develops the courage to face the unpredictable ocean.
An optimistic and bubbly blue tang who experiences frequent, short-term memory loss. Sparking friendships with everyone she meets, Dory teams up with Marlin to help him find Nemo and conquer his fears.

Actors who are cast in this ensemble group will sing in most of the songs in the show, however some songs will be sung off-stage and others will be sung on-stage. Actors in this group are guaranteed to sing at least three songs on-stage as part of the Moonfish ensemble. (The Moonfish are an ensemble group who wear glowing fish puppet gloves. They arrange their hands and bodies to make fun shapes like the school of fish in the Pixar film.)

A group of sea turtles who teach Marlin that it's ok to let go. This ensemble group will sing in the song "Go With The Flow". At least some actors in this ensemble will be Part-Time Actors.
