Seeking ages 16 and up for "Freaky Friday" Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Set against the backdrop of their chaotic family life, the musical explores themes of empathy, understanding, and the importance of family. As Katherine and Ellie attempt to return to their own bodies, they discover new perspectives on their relationship and ultimately grow closer, learning valuable lessons about love, respect, and the balance between independence and connection. With catchy songs, energetic choreography, and plenty of heart, Freaky Friday is a story about finding common ground, no matter how different we seem. Rate: Stipend available. Housing assistance for out-of-state candidates is available on a limited basis. Additional info: Seeking non-union actors who can sing and dance. Prepare 16-32 bars of a contemporary musical theatre song in the style of the show (performers are welcome to select material from the show). Please bring Piano/Vocal sheet music for our pianist.
