Auditions for "Sherlock Holmes and the Mystery of the Crown Jewel" Play. Looking to cast kids and teens. Please see the details below. About the project: The game’s afoot as the famous consulting detective Sherlock Holmes and his friend Doctor Watson are given a case by Queen Victoria herself to solve a mystery that could affect the very future of the British Empire! From the team that brought you HOW I BECAME A PIRATE, this original musical based on the popular stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle leads you on a merry-goose chase from 221B Baker Street all the way to the Tower of London. It is fun for the whole family and a case that will keep the audience on the edge of their seats! Additional info: Callbacks: Tuesday, December 17th @4:30pm Invitation Only Auditions will consist of singing, dancing, and cold readings from the script. Please come prepared to dance and with a prepared song in the style of the show. Songs should be 16-32 measures or 30 seconds to a minute in the style of the show. DO NOT SING A SONG FROM THE SHOW. Please list any special skills you may have (tumbling, ballet, shadow puppets, anything!) on the audition form. List any schedule conflicts that may occur during the rehearsal timeframe. Important Dates: Rehearsals are expected to be on Monday - Thursday 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Tech week is from February 17th through February 25th.
