Singing Opportunities for Kids in "Shrek The Musical"

Performers age 8-18 years old are invited to audition for "Shrek The Musical". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: “Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek….” Thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude, and over a dozen other fairy-tale misfits, and you’ve got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there’s one on hand… and his name is Shrek. Additional info: CALLBACKS: January 25, 2025. REHEARSALS: Feb. 1-April 26 (no rehearsals during Spring Break, March 14-15 or Easter weekend, April 18-19) Saturday-only rehearsals starting Feb. 1-March 29, Saturday hours will be 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday rehearsals starting April 4, Friday hours will be 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. TECH WEEK: April 28-May 1, 5:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. (No conflicts allowed for Tech Week or Shows) PERFORMANCES: May 2-4, 2025 May 2 at 9:30 a.m. & 11:30 a.m. (School Day Shows) and 7 p.m. May 3 at 2 p.m. & 6 p.m. May 4 at 2 p.m. & 6 p.m. Note that the production fee will be applied.
