About the project: Sister Act is the feel-good musical comedy smash based on the hit 1992 film that has audiences jumping to their feet! Featuring original music by Tony- and eight-time Oscar winner, Alan Menken (Newsies, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors), this uplifting musical was nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Rate: No pay. Additional info: Please note: there is a production fee applied. Rehearsals Begin: January 13, 2025 Run/Shoot: April 4, 2025 – April 13, 2025 Please prepare two 32-bar cuts of musical theatre songs in the style of this show, not to exceed 2 minutes each in length. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring printed sheet music in a binder, in the correct key, and with cuts clearly marked. Those auditioning for named roles should also prepare a 60-90 second monologue. Those auditioning for an ensemble role only do not need to prepare a monologue, but are welcome to do so if desired.
