Seeking ages 12 and up for "Sleeping Beauty & the Big Green Pea" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: The creative team seeks an ensemble of performers who are not afraid to make bold choices, love to dance or can move well, can successfully collaborate with others, and take direction. The team encourages auditionees to come ready to have fun and play. Auditionees will be asked to read from the show. Accommodations for readers with special needs like dyslexia or the need for larger fonts can be made, just make a note to producers ahead of time when filling out an online audition form. The audition panel will also direct auditionees through a movement/dance exercise. No experience is required! REHEARSAL SCHEDULE: Tuesdays/Thursdays (12/10-2/11) (6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.) Saturdays (12/14 - 2/8) (9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) Rehearsal schedule subject to change; cast will be given final dates No rehearsals are planned for December 20 - January 1 Some Saturdays may extend to 3:00 p.m.; cast will receive advance notice. TECH WEEK: (NO CONFLICTS) 2/15-2/20 (Call Time 5:00 p.m.) PERFORMANCE DATES: (NO CONFLICTS) Thursday, February 20 - call time 5:00 p.m.; performance at 7:00 p.m. (invited dress rehearsal/Pay What You Can night) Friday, February 21 - call time 5:00 p.m.; performance at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, February 22 - call time 11:00 a.m. for 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. performances Sunday, February 23 - call time at 11:00 a.m.; performances at 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Student Matinees: Monday, February 24 - call time 7:00 a.m. for shows at 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. The production team will provide school excuse letters as needed. Mandatory strike for the full cast, crew, and production team after the final show. To audition, parent permission is required for everyone under 19 yrs old.
