Kid Audition For Singing in "The Sound of Music" Show
Looking for kids and teens for "The Sound of Music" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: An actor reimbursement of $600 is available to all those cast in the show. Additional info: All those auditioning must complete the online audition form before submitting a video or scheduling an audition time. Children: Auditions are open to girls ages 6 and older and boys ages 8 and older. Those auditioning must meet the age requirement no later than November 14th. All auditions up to age 14 will take place through video submission only. Music from the show will be provided for the video submissions. All submissions are due with the completed form no later than midnight on Thursday, November 14th. 15 and older: In person auditions will take place on Saturday, November 16th from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM. Please come to your audition prepared to sing 30-60 seconds of a song in the style of the Golden Age of Broadway (Rodgers & Hammerstein, Lerner & Loewe, or something similar). A pianist will be provided. Please no acapella singing or pre-recorded music. Callbacks are scheduled for Wednesday, November 20th and Thursday, November 21st. First Cast Meeting will be December 5th and rehearsals will start January 6th. Provide any conflicts for November 20th, 21st, December 5th, and January 6th through April 24th along with a headshot and resume. If interested, please apply.

She is pretty but unsophisticated and tends to think everything is wonderful. She has a maternal edge to her and cares very deeply and lovingly for her younger siblings.
