About the project: The story follows the small town of Grover’s Corners through three acts: “Daily Life,” “Love and Marriage,” and “Death and Eternity.” The play is narrated by the omniscient Stage Manager and performed on a bare stage with minimal set pieces and mimed props. The audience follows the children of the Webb and Gibbs families through falling in love, marriage, and eventually – in one of the most famous scenes in American theatre – to the graveyard. This Pulitzer Prize-winning play is a timeless favorite of audiences and actors alike.
