Dance Opportunities for Teens in "Ragtime" Musical
Young actors aged 10-12 are invited to audition for "Ragtime" Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Ragtime brings to life the stories of three distinct groups-African Americans, upper-class White Americans, and Eastern European immigrants-as they navigate a rapidly changing society in New York City in search of the American dream. Additional info: Please plan to arrive 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled slot. During the first half hour of your hour-long time slot, directors will hear vocals and readings. The second half hour will be a dance audition. Music and sides: After you have signed up for your audition slot, you will receive an email from SignUp Genius with the link to the audition material Drive. In the Drive, you will find character folders that include the music and sides to prepare for your general audition, along with callback materials if invited to callbacks.
