Seeking Kids for "Anastasia" Show
Performers aged 8 and up are invited to audition for the "Anastasia" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Set against the grandeur of the Russian Empire's final days and the dazzling energy of 1920s Paris, Anastasia is a story of courage, discovery, and love. With unforgettable songs like “Journey to the Past” and “Once Upon a December,” this production is perfect for performers of all ages, and we are looking for a LARGE CAST for the busy ensemble. Additional info: MUSIC: Please prepare 32 bars (approximately 30 seconds to 1 minute) of a musical theater song in the style of the show. You may audition with a song from the show. A pianist will be provided. Please bring music in the correct key with cuts clearly marked. If your selection exceeds the time limit, the production team may cut you off due to time constraints. DANCE: A dance combination will be taught at auditions. The preview video coming soon. Young Anastasia is the willful, brave, proud, and precocious youngest daughter of the Tsar. She has a special bond with her grandmother (whom she calls Nana). Must have beautiful young soprano voice. "Once Upon a December" C4-C5
Anya's little brother. Alexei was the Tsarevich (Heir to the throne) and only boy of the Romanov siblings. He suffered from debilitating hemophilia that often left him bedridden.
