About the project: Stanley Lambchop is your ordinary, everyday ten-year-old until the bulletin board on the wall above his bed comes loose and falls right on top of him. The next morning, Stanley wakes up flat. In a whirlwind musical travelogue, The ultimate exchange student the globe for a solution to his unusual problem. He's stamped, posted, and canceled from Hollywood and France to Honolulu and beyond, all in an effort to become a three-dimensional boy once more. Stanley is a boy who wants to do "amazing things the world has never seen before." Cast an actor who is charming and highly likable with a solid voice and acting chops. It is also helpful if the actor has good control over his body and will therefore be able to control the flat suit.
Arthur is Stanley's little brother. He's very serious about school and follows the rules. He has a few solo lines and a short ballad. Arthur also delivers a very funny monologue, so make sure the actor you cast has great comedic timing.

Bulletin Board is a magical creature, like the tooth fairy, who grants kids' wishes but with a little twist. Cast a character actress who's funny and can be a little goofy. She should be able to sing reasonably well and carry a solo.
Mrs. Cartero is a sassy postal worker. She is fun-loving and extremely likable. She should have a strong singing and speaking voice and must be able to drive the energy of her scenes.
