After a falling-out with Regina in middle school, she became a bit of a social outcast and still holds a grudge against Regina. Outgoing and an active member of the student activities committee, Damian is a fiercely loyal friend to Janis and they have the close rapport of a comedy team. Damian is smart, witty, and confident and occasionally serves as the show’s narrator. He is load and proud and boldly self identifies as gay. Vocal range top: G5 Vocal range bottom: Bb3

The undisputed Queen Bee of North Shore High School, and she knows it. She’s confident, clever, and completely unbothered by anyone else’s opinion. One of the Plastics. Desperate to please Regina and to maintain her position in the Plastics, Gretchen is a nervous wreck. Her fragility at times is heartbreaking. The third member of the Plastics. While Karen’s lack of intelligence is a running joke throughout the show, she sees the other girls more clearly than most people and is the most laid back of the three. A nice guy who has no idea that he’s the high school heartthrob. He’s not immune to all the female attention he gets, but he’s not going to let himself be a pawn in their chess game either. Broadway and pop tenor. *This character has intimacy* Vocal range top: E5 Vocal range bottom: B3

Kevin is the extremely driven captain of the North Shore Mathletes. He is a confident and outgoing student. As well a DJ and rapper.

Mrs. Heron is Cady’s intellectual mom who can’t understand why her daughter is devolving before her eyes.

Mrs. George is Regina’s “cool mom.” She’s desperate to look young and feel like one of the teens. She’s also desperate for Regina not to repeat her mistakes.

Ms. Norbury is Cady’s world-weary and sarcastic Calculus teacher who pushes Cady to be her best self.

The school principal. Like Ms. Norbury, he’s seen it all, although he’s slightly more formal and sincere.
