About the project: In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids – probably the most inventively awful kids in history. The crowd-pleasing comedy features plenty of great roles for children and adults, a few favorite Christmas Carols, and lots of laughs. Additional info: Performances are Dec. 12, 13 and 14 at 7 pm. Auditions will be a cold read from the sides. The 1983 movie adaptation is on YouTube if you want to get an idea of the style of the show. Rehearsals will take place at the church during November (off Thanksgiving week) and December. All roles will not be required to attend all rehearsals. Please see the attachment for details.
