Kid Actors Needed for "A Christmas Carol"

Seeking local actors, singers, and movers between the ages of 11 and 18 for the Holiday Youth Stage Production of "A Christmas Carol". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Rate: These are volunteer positions and there is no fee to participate. Additional info: This block of time will consist of reading scenes from the script and singing callbacks. There is nothing that actors need to prepare for this portion of the audition. General Rehearsal Details: General rehearsals will take place between Saturday, November 9, and Friday, December 13. Rehearsals will take place a few weekday evenings and one or two weekend days, per week. A conflict sheet will be submitted at auditions so that a master schedule can be crafted. IMPORTANT: Actors will not be called all days and times that you see on the conflict sheet. There is some flexibility during this period since we know students have other commitments. Youth availability will be collected so as to create a rehearsal schedule that best serves the whole company. Once the show is cast, a final rehearsal schedule will be distributed by Saturday, November 9. Tech and Performance Details: Tech Rehearsals will take place between Saturday, December 14, and Tuesday, December 17. Performances will be Wednesday, December 18 at 7 pm, Thursday, December 19 at 7 pm, Friday, December 20 at 7:00 pm, Saturday, December 21 at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm, and Sunday, December 22 at 2:00 pm. The actor’s call time will be 90 minutes before the curtain. All actors will be required to participate in a strike on Sunday, December 22 after the show finishes from 3:30-5:30 pm.
