About the project: This charming, family-friendly musical tells the story of Ugly, a duckling who doesn’t quite fit in with his family or the other animals on the farm. Through his journey, Ugly meets a variety of quirky and lovable characters, learning about acceptance, kindness, and being true to yourself. Filled with catchy songs, humorous moments, and heartfelt messages, Honk! is a delightful retelling of “The Ugly Duckling” that speaks to all ages. The show’s lively music, engaging characters, and humorous twists make it an exciting opportunity for actors of all experience levels. There are roles for all ages, from young ducklings to wise old animals, making this a great chance for families to perform together. Additional info: Rehearsal Schedule: Saturdays with additional Thursday rehearsals as needed closer to dress week.
