Seeking Kids for "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" The Musical
Looking for performers ages 8 and up for "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" The Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Come dressed to move as there will be a short movement component at the start of the audition. Actors will be asked to read from a selection of short sides that will be provided during auditions. Please prepare a short selection from a holiday carol to sing acapella. Callbacks, if needed, will take place in the evening on Wednesday, October 2. If interested, please apply.

(Baritone/Tenor) The oldest and coolest of the Hermans. He’s the enforcer.
(Mezzo Soprano) Leader of the Herdmans. She’s loud, bossy, and crafty.
(Baritone/Tenor) Ralph’s backup. Very confident in the muscle department.
(Baritone/Tenor) Scrappy and smart.
(Baritone/Tenor) A bit of a naïve urchin who follows the older boys’ leads.
(Mezzo-Soprano) Little but fierce. Nothing scares Gladys.
(Mezzo Soprano) Charlie’s older and wiser sister. She’s honest and kind.
(Tenor) Typical kid brother, says what he thinks.
(Mezzo Soprano) Know-it-all. She thinks she’s perfect.
Soprano/Alto. Beth’s earnest friend who is sometimes a goody-goody.
(Tenor) Preacher’s kid, which means he needs to behave and be nice.
(Tenor) Wimpy kid with glasses, asks too many questions.
