Looking for kids ages 6 and up for "A Christmas Carol" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Our one-hour adaptation of A Christmas Carol (story by Charles Dickens, adapted by McKinney resident, Dr. Andrew Harris) is a cherished annual tradition at MRT. Each season, more families discover this timeless tale told in MRT’s unique way, with many returning year after year. Follow Ebenezer Scrooge as he is visited by ghosts from his past, present, and future, who reveal the true spirit of Christmas and the consequences of his choices. Additional info: Headshots and resumes are not required but are welcome if you have one. Sides for the audition are attached and will be available at the auditions. British accents are preferred and directors will offer coaching to all cast. To save time at auditions, please feel free to print the audition form attached and bring it with you to auditions already filled out. First Rehearsal/Read Through Oct. 14 at 6:30 PM REHEARSALS: October 15, 16, 20, 21, 23, 24, 27, 28, 29, Nov. 4, 5, 7, 11, 12, 14, 17. All weekday rehearsals will be from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM and Sunday rehearsals will be from 2-5 PM. Children will be excused from rehearsal by 8:30 PM.
