Kid dancers needed for the show "Nutcracker." Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Youth ages 8–18 are invited to audition to perform in this holiday classic! Performance dates are November 22, 23 and 24. Be a part of this magical story, where the classic Nutcracker is reimagined into an exciting modern day performance. AUDITION ATTIRE For girls: Black Leo, pink or flesh tone tights, hair anchored back in a bun For boys: Black pants/shorts, white shirt, ballet or jazz shoes. Ages 14+ with 2+ years of instruction in pointe should bring their pointe shoes. REHEARSALS Rehearsals will begin on the afternoons of September 14 and 15. Regular rehearsals will be held every Sunday until the week of the performance. Tech week will require additional time commitments. Please see the attachment for details.
