Additional info: Performance Dates: March 21st - April 6th Interested auditioners should arrive before, or at, the scheduled starting time on the date(s) they wish to audition. Dates and times may need to be modified. ANNIE is a musical. Because of that, it requires that we have solo-quality vocalists in the lead roles as well as chorus members that have voices that can blend with one another. If you are auditioning for a lead role, there are specific songs that you will be asked to perform. Other than required songs for “lead hopefuls”, feel free to prepare another piece to audition with – it can be as simple as “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” or something else of your choice, but be aware that time limitations may require us to stop you before you finish your piece. If you would like, you may bring a backtrack to audition with (a Bluetooth speaker will be available). Detailed rehearsal calendars will be given out during the first meeting of the cast which will be held on December 19th at 6:30 PM. A complete read and sing-through for the cast will be held on January 3rd at 6:30 PM and rehearsals will begin on January 6th at 6:30 PM at a location to be determined. Weekday rehearsals will begin at 6:30 PM promptly and end at 9:00 PM. Saturday morning rehearsals may be scheduled closer to the opening date if the need arises. Rehearsals are almost never canceled. Not every cast member will have to be at every rehearsal – rehearsals are structured to respect your time and to ensure that rehearsals are as productive and enjoyable as possible. Please review the audition form for more information regarding rehearsals. Please see the attachment for details. If you are interested please apply.
