Child Auditions for Musical Production "Anastasia"

Looking for performers entering 6th grade in September 2024 up to age 18 to perform in "Anastasia: The Musical". Please see the details below. About the project: From Tony winners Terrence McNally, Stephen Flaherty, and Lynn Ahrens, creators of such Broadway classics as Ragtime and Once On This Island, this dazzling show transports its audience from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing con man and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find a home, love, and family. Additional info: Audition Requirements: -Prepare 16-32 bars of any song in the style of the show. Musical theater songs are preferred, and your audition song may be from Anastasia. -No monologues are required. -Note: There are limited roles available for younger actors, so directors encourage you to bring your best performance! Callbacks: Sunday, September 8th | 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM Rehearsals are held on Sunday afternoons and Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Tech Week Sunday, December 8 to Thursday, December 12.
