Looking for kids ages 6 and up for "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Based on the best-selling book by Barbara Robinson, “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” introduces the Herdmans, “the worst kids in the history of the world.” They lie, steal, and smoke cigars. There used to be only one place you’d never see them - church. But when the Herdmans learn about free dessert at Sunday School, they show up to terrify the community and take over the Christmas pageant, unexpectedly teaching everyone the true meaning of Christmas. Additional info: Ages 12 and up, Audition Requirements: A memorized one-minute monologue of your choice. Ages 11 and under, Audition Requirements" Prepare and perform one monologue or poem from the options below. Sing one verse of "Silent Night," "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" or "Joy to the World" acapella. Lyrics will be provided.
