Casting Call for Boys and Girls for "My Son Pinocchio"
Students entering grades 3-12 are invited to audition for the "My Son Pinocchio" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Disney’s beloved cartoon masterpiece comes to life in a new stage adaptation by Stephen Schwartz! Pinocchio and Geppetto must take a new adventure and learn to love in this extravagant musical, filled with your favorite songs! Additional info: All auditioning students will perform a song and a monologue (if they want solo lines) during their audition. They may be asked to do a short improvisation (no preparation necessary). If you audition, you must be able to commit to all four: Friday, October 18 School Matinee (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM) Friday, October 18 Opening Night 7:00 PM Saturday, October 19 at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 20 at 2:00 PM Rehearsals run Sunday–Thursday from 6:00 PM–9:00 PM. Not all actors will be called to all rehearsals. Rehearsals start Monday, September 9th at 6:00 PM. Please list all conflicts on your audition form. Any conflicts that come up later or are not listed on the form will have to be negotiated with the director. Tech week begins with loading into the theatre on Saturday, October 12, 2024, and continues every evening until the show opens. No absences are permitted during tech week.
