We are looking film-savvy kids that love talking about films and interviewing celebs! They probably envision a career in the entertainment industry. KIDS FIRST! Film Critics is a team of 65 tween & teen reporters who attend press screenings, junkets and film premieres. They review the newest films and digital media; their reviews reach over 5 million people every week on our website, blog, social media. They share a passion for film and work well with our other team members. This is a volunteer position, but what you learn - from writing to editing to performing on-camera - is priceless. This is a volunteer position where you receive free acting class for one year. You start at an online "boot camp" which gets you started. Then, you join our national, acclaimed team of KIDS FIRST! Reporters where you attend press screenings and watch films before they are released, and have the opportunity to interview celebrities – actors, directors, etc. Many of our reporters have found employment in the entertainment business after their experience with KIDS FIRST!
